Most dark roasts are dark for a reason: it is easier to hide a mediocre green coffee behind a heavy roast than it is to find one worth roasting dark in the first place. Perpetual Darkness starts differently. We selected a naturally processed Brazilian coffee with enough inherent sweetness and body to hold up under an intentional dark development, then roasted it to the edge of that profile without crossing into bitterness or char. The result scratches the dark roast itch the right way: deep dark chocolate, a long caramel fade, and a toasted marshmallow sweetness that keeps the finish from going flat. No sourness. No ashy bite. Just a full, grounded cup that knows exactly what it is.
