Grown at altitudes of 1,300-1,700 meters above sea level, this coffee is a prime example of a Strictly High Grown (SHG) bean. The cooler, high-altitude climate allows the coffee cherries to mature more slowly, concentrating their sugars and nutrients. This results in the denser, sweeter, and higher-quality beans that you’ll taste in your cup.

This lot has been meticulously processed using the Washed method. After being hand-sorted for ripeness, the cherries are pulped and fermented to remove the remaining fruit, allowing the true character of the bean to shine. This dedication to quality continues with the coffee's sorting. To meet European Preparation (EP) specifications, this lot was further sorted to ensure a minimum screen size of 15 and above, with a maximum of eight defects in a 300-gram sample, ensuring only the finest beans make it to your bag.
